“If good men do not involve themselves in the management of the republic, then the good will always be governed by those who are worse than themselves.” -Plato.
Since the creation of this new website, we have had over 700 views and we are thrilled about that, however, compared to the amount of the people in this country, this number is minuscule. Many people reading this may think that they do not have to take action because we already have and others will, but this is not the case. There are approximately 318.9 million people living in the United States, most of them likely have no idea that the things we write about exist. They don’t know about tyranny or liberty. So, if every single person who has read this website, went and taught one person the things they have learned, we would have 1400 people who knew. Then, if those 700 people taught one more person, there would be 2800 people who were taught about these things and then it keeps going on and on. However, every person who decides they don’t have to do anything because someone else already has, that’s another person they haven’t taught, and they can’t teach more and more people and the cycle ends with them. The right to teach the things you have learned isn’t just a right, it’s a duty. “You are freemen, and men of reason and spirit; awaken your spirit, exert your reason, and assert your freedom.” Cato’s Letters.
So today, we beg you, don’t think you can’t do anything, don’t think you don’t have to do anything. Teach others, then they will teach others, and we will have more people knowing about the blessings of liberty than we could ever have imagined. Don’t remain silent because “all tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” -Thomas Jefferson
