Work, Desire, Strive

“Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and diligence.” Abigail Adams

I have been thinking a lot about how everyone is being taught today. Unlike when the Founding Fathers were taught, we aren’t taught how to think, but what to think. The thing is, as Abigail Adams explained in the above quote, we cannot simply sit in a classroom listening to lectures and expect to actually gain knowledge from that. Even if you feel like you know enough to pass the next test, that doesn’t mean you’ve actually gained that knowledge. We have to work for it, study, and desire to have that knowledge. We cannot be told what to think and expect that to be enough. We are scared to learn of the principles of liberty and tyranny because we have been told to think differently; however, if we learn how to think instead of what to think, and we study out these principles, it will not be hard to see how important and true they are. I urge you to think outside of just what you’ve been told, and open up your mind to new knowledge. Work for it, desire it, and diligently strive for it.

I would also like to thank all of those who have already opened up their minds to these new principles and ideas. These past couple of days, America Restored has reached over three thousand views! We have grown tremendously these past couple of days and we are so grateful for it. More and more people are reading, and returning week after week to read what we have written, meaning these principles are being read, understood, and received and we can’t thank you enough for that. We hope to continue to be able to teach others and grow.

Yours truly,

Publius
