William Ross Wallace once wrote, “the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world”. This past weekend was Mother’s day, the day where we celebrate the loving, tender hands that forever rock the cradle of all generations. It is important to remember that you are what your parents lead you to be. The knowledge you obtain, the characteristics you have, the standards you uphold, these all come from the seeds your parents place into you, especially your mothers. They are the first hands you hold, the first heartbeat you hear. The relationship of a mother to child can never be duplicated. Because of the influence a parent can have on their child, it is key to remember what we want to instill in our children. We must place the principles of liberty in our youth at a young age so it is engrained in their subconscious. Mothers are our first teachers and that is why they can rule the world. They send you on your life’s path in whatever direction they choose. So in order for us to prosper as a people, rich in the luxury of liberty, we must become the best mothers, and fathers, that we can be. Only once we start from the bottom up can we truly restore our country to where it should be.
Thank you mothers everywhere,
Publius
